FAQ

"What are BodyBlooms?"
BodyBlooms are floral art for your body created by Althea Floral Design. Fresh flowers are affixed to skin-safe tape (specifically KT tape used in sports medicine) and then gently pressed onto the body. The piece will stay on as long as you'd like it to, and is easily removed (less painful than pulling a bandaid off!).

"Do I need to get naked?"
Nope! The goal of a boudoir session is to make you feel confident, beautiful, and empowered. If that means you want to keep a little bit hidden, by all means we support that!

"Where do I put the flowers? How do I put them on?"
The first 10 mins of your session will be spent with Zoe, your personal BodyBloom artist. She will place the BodyBloom strips on your body to complement your lingerie/garments and natural curves. If you would rather place the BodyBloom strips yourself, that's okay too! We're happy to give suggestions on placement, whether its on the arms, waist, legs, chest, or otherwise. After the BodyBlooms are placed, Amy will switch out with Zoe and begin the boudoir photography session.

"Can I pick custom colors or flowers?"
Certainly! There will be an additional fee based on the level of customization requested.

"What adhesive do you use?"
BodyBlooms are designed on KT tape, which is hypoallergenic and latex-free. We attach floral "freckles" with spirit gum, which contains Alcohol Denat, Shellac, and Ethyl Acetate.

"What can I do with the BodyBloom strips after the BLOOM Sessions?"
BodyBlooms can also be reused after your Bloom Session by reapplying using eyelash glue or spirit gum fx adhesive. Perfect for a date later that night!
They can also be easily pressed to become a keepsake.

"Where are the BLOOM Sessions held?"
BLOOM Sessions are held in a small private studio in Rockland, MA, about 35 mins south of Boston.
